G'day all ..is there anyone who has encountered vista blue screen shite....my neighbour has been humbugging me to sort his computer out.
I can fire it up and it will start the windows green bar thingy and then goes straight to blue screen with the keyboard becoming non responsive.
Any clues would be much appreciated.

take the ram out and replace one by one, rebooting after each . are there any other pci cards in slots? ie a soundcard? take that out too. reboot. still bsod? press f8 into safe mode. check which drivers are fucked and re install. or take the bsod numbers and post them up here. also check there is enough ram, vista needs 2 g min to run properly.
